The most important blessing in our life is anointing of the Holy Spirit (Gal 6:15). If we neglect most important blessing in our life nothing good may take place in our life. There are thirteen benefits of the anointing or infilling of the Holy Spirit.
View More“He is not here; for He has risen just as He said. Come and see the place where the Lord was placed”, (Matt 28:6). Jesus is the first among the dead who is risen. His resurrection is a guarantee and assurance of our own resurrection in His second coming. If He is not in the tomb; where is He? According to Matthew 28:20, He is with us and “behold I am with you always, to the close of the age”. By the power of resurrection Jesus is present in the hearts of all. Only one tomb is empty and that is the tomb of Jesus while all other tombs are closed. That is the uniqueness of Jesus.

As Jesus says there is no incurable sickness in the New Testament, God can heal it – “Behold, I am the Lord, of all flesh: is anything impossible for me (Jer. 32:27)” and this sickness is not unto death (Jn.11:4). This God who heals, is present in our time in the word and in the Blessed Sacrament. When we celebrate the Eucharist, Jesus is our contemporary (St. John Paul II in Church and Eucharist Art 8). And the word of God and Blessed Sacrament heal your diseases. It has the power to heal the people who sit in front of the Blessed Sacrament after the celebration of the Eucharist (CCC 1509). In order to have an encounter with Jesus, while you are sick, You have to apply only four methods: listen to the word of God and be a doer of the word of God, call upon the name of the Lord, ask for prayers of the people who have the gift of healing and have recourse to medical remedy (only scientific remedies). But three categories of people never will be healed. There is a chance to be healed if you do not belong to one of these categories.
View MoreGod created Man and Woman and put them in the paradise not in the forest or desert. Paradise is a place of peace, harmony and prosperity not a place of struggle and suffering. “… in the original plan of God Man would not have had to suffer or die…” (Catechism-Compendium 72). God created human beings just to share his love and goodness with them (Youcat 2). This truth is revealed again and again through the further teachings of the Church. … “God is no way directly or indirectly the cause of the evil in this world…” (Catechism – Compendium 57). God has not created death or suffering in this world. Now death is a certainty in all human beings. And suffering is in its various forms due to all children of Adam (Sirach 40:1). But it is not from God because the Catechism 413 says “God did not make death, He does not delight in the death of the living…. it was through the devil’s envy that death entered the world” (Wis 1:13, 2:24). God is the master of life not the master of death “… Jesus, the author of life, by dying, He destroyed the devil who has the power of death and also the power to keep Man in life-long bondage of the fear of death …” (CCC 335). If God is the master of death Jesus would not destroy the plan of his father by destroying the power of death. If suffering and sickness are the plan of God, Jesus would not heal all the sick who came to him (Mt.15:29-38). And God will not give medicines and physicians for the sick (Sirach 38.1-15). Jesus has come to this world to reinstate man into his lost glory or to the original plan of God (CCC 518) that is given above in the compendium 72.

Why has Jesus come to this world as saviour? Who has enslaved the mankind? Why we are in need of a savior? Why is His birth a good news to all?

How do we receive this charism? How do we use it? Which are the messages that cannot be revealed to the other, though the message is received? Let me elaborate these points in the following lines.

View MoreIntroduction This book gives a few details of deliverance and exorcism. Deliverance belongs to the Lord (Ps 3:8) and prophet Jeremiah affirms it by saying that God will surely deliver the one who trusts in Him (Jer 1:8). Humanity needs freedom from oppression, obsession and possession of the devil and demons. Divine knowledge sets one free from all demonic bondages because the scripture reiterates, “You will know the truth and the truth will set you free” (Jn 8:32). Jesus says, “If the Son of man has set you free, you will be freed indeed” (Jn 8.36). This exposition has three parts. The first part explains the terms deliverance and exorcism according to the Bible and Magisterial teachings. The second part provides details of different types of demons or evil spirits according to the scriptures, Church teachings and practical experiences. The third part cites some practical issues, superstitions and esoteric practices which are to be avoided. It also warns the present generation.

The Church defined Meditation and Contemplation in CCCC 570 and 571 respectively. The following verses in the Bible highlight the need and effects of Meditation and Contemplation. Rev. 8:1 refers to half an hour of silence in heaven; Be still and know that I am your God (Ps 46:10) and Fear not, be still in the presence of God, then God will fight for you (Ex.14:14). Jesus was transfigured on mount Tabor while he was in meditation and contemplation (Mt. 17: 1-13). St. Paul shared his experience, while he was in this world, as though he was in paradise and third level of heaven (through Meditation and Contemplation), with body or without body he was unsure though (2 Cor 12:1-4). Let me try to introduce a simple form of Meditation and Contemplation which is suitable to our busy schedule. The classical form of Meditation and Contemplation is described in the Interior Castle of St. Teresa of Avila. But her castles are understood only by those who have attained a particular level of spiritual maturity and have known and analysed their own trajectory in the spiritual realm. So, I try to introduce a simple form of Mediation and Contemplation through nine circles or nine abodes around you. The inner most circle is known as the Divine Mercy Castle. Therefore, this method is known as Divine Mercy Castle Meditation and Contemplation (DMCMC).
View MoreAll of us do minister in the kingdom of God, but what is the real intention and motivation of these ministries? Some preach the word of God out of jealousy, pride while some others to defeat other ministries and have personal fame. St. Paul’s letter to the Corinthians says ‘The love of Christ urges me to do the ministry in the kingdom of God’ (2 Cor 5:14). The love of Christ is the driving force of ministry and the glory of God is the aim of it.
View MoreThe Mercy of God towards humanity is manifested through the words and deeds of Jesus Christ. Jesus reveals the Mercy of God (Misericordiae Vultus). Jesus said in his Sermon on the Mount that all those who are merciful will receive mercy from God (Mt. 5:7), which means that we have to show mercy to others to receive mercy from God. If we are cruel to others, we have no right to expect mercy from God. Justice means to give each one his/her due. God gives Satan what belongs to Satan; and gives us what we deserve. The whole of humanity had gone away from God through the sin of Adam and Eve but the mercy of God brings the whole of humanity back to God through Jesus Christ.
View MoreIntroduction The plan of God in our life is wellness (Jer. 29:11). God has created us to share His blessed life with Him (CCC 1). This is the reason that St John prayed for his disciple Gaius “My beloved I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, I know that it is also well with your soul (3 John 1:1-2). While God has a plan of wellness, satan has a plan of suffering in our lives. God has already made this plan of wellness, when we were formed in the womb of our mothers ( Jer 29:11 and Ps 139:12-13). Similarly satan also has a plan of suffering right from the very beginning of our lives. This plan of suffering, right from the beginning till the end can be revealed to an astrologer who is not a devotee of God. Therefore an astrologer would say about good and bad fortunes. Instead a prophet of God would say only good news and promises of God. Only good things will happen if you listen the prophet of God while if you listen also an astrologer good things and bad things will happen.
